Enhanced Vehicle Tracking and Action Detection System Integrated with Blynk IoT for Real-Time Monitoring and Safety Alerts

Objective

The objective of this project is to develop a vehicle tracking and action detection system using Blynk IoT to provide real-time monitoring and instant safety alerts.

Abstract

This project introduces an advanced vehicle monitoring and safety system using NodeMCU, GPS, GSM, and MEMS sensors, integrated with Blynk IoT. The GPS module accurately determines the vehicle's position, including latitude, longitude, speed, and provides a live Google Maps location URL. Upon activation via Blynk IoT, the system automatically sends an SMS with the vehicle’s live location to a designated mobile number using the GSM module. The GPS continuously updates these values and uploads them to the Blynk IoT platform for real-time tracking. Additionally, the MEMS sensor detects any abnormal movements indicating a potential accident, and immediately sends an SMS alert to the same mobile number. This comprehensive system ensures efficient vehicle tracking, prompt accident detection, and rapid emergency notification, thereby significantly enhancing vehicle safety and security.
