ABSTRACT

"Empowering Artisans: A Digital Marketplace for Handicrafts and Textiles" is a comprehensive platform designed to support artisans by providing a space to sell their handcrafted products and textiles. Built with a React.js frontend, Spring Boot backend, and MySQL database, the platform offers tailored experiences for three user types: Admins, Artisans, and Customers. Admins can manage artisans and customers, oversee promotion requests, and assign badges to artisan products. Artisans can register, upload products, create and participate in events, chat with other artisans, and manage their orders and subscriptions. Customers can easily browse products, add them to the cart, and complete purchases through a streamlined checkout process. This platform not only facilitates the buying and selling of artisanal products but also encourages community building among artisans and fosters the promotion of local artisanship through events and subscriptions.
