Objective

" The main objective of this project is to develop a web-based Eco-Habit Tracker that allows users to track their daily sustainable actions, such as energy consumption, waste reduction, and transportation choices. The system calculates a Green Score based on the frequency and type of eco-friendly habits users log. Additionally, it provides analytics to visualize users' progress and suggests ways to improve their environmental impact. "

Abstract

The Eco-Habit Tracker is a web-based application designed to encourage individuals to adopt and track sustainable habits that contribute to a healthier planet. Developed using HTML, CSS, JSP for the front-end, and MySQL Workbench for database management, the system provides an interactive platform for users to register, log in, and track their daily eco-friendly habits, such as reducing energy consumption, recycling, and sustainable transportation. The application calculates a "Green Score" based on the habits logged by the users, providing insights into their environmental impact. Additionally, the system offers analytics, suggestions for improvement, and user reviews to promote engagement and education. By fostering eco-conscious behaviors through habit tracking, the Eco-Habit Tracker empowers individuals to make informed decisions that contribute to reducing their carbon footprint and promoting environmental sustainability. The modular design ensures a seamless user experience, from registration to habit tracking, while MySQL ensures secure and efficient data storage for user profiles and habit records.
