Objective

The objective of this project is to develop an E-Commerce Product Management & Shopping Portal that integrates Vision AI and Blockchain technology to improve operational efficiency and security. The system aims to automate product attribute extraction, streamline inventory management, and enhance order tracking. By utilizing Blockchain, it ensures secure, transparent transaction records, providing verifiable proof of completed orders and payments. Ultimately, the project seeks to deliver a seamless, secure, and trustworthy platform for both administrators and users, enhancing the overall e-commerce experience.

Abstract

This paper presents the development of an innovative E-Commerce Product Management & Shopping Portal, leveraging advanced technologies such as the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js), Vision AI, and Blockchain. The system offers a dual interface catering to both administrators and users, enhancing product management, secure transactions, and order tracking. For administrators, the system enables seamless product management, including product addition, with Vision AI capabilities to automatically extract attributes such as colour, type, and category from images. Inventory management features, such as stock updates and low stock alerts, improve operational efficiency. Furthermore, administrators can manage orders, update their status, and generate sales reports, facilitating informed decision-making. On the user side, the portal provides a convenient shopping experience with functionalities for product browsing, search, cart management, and checkout. The integration of Blockchain technology plays a critical role in ensuring transaction security. Once an order is delivered, order and payment data are securely stored on the Blockchain, offering transparent, immutable records, and ensuring the integrity of the transaction. This system demonstrates the effectiveness of combining cutting-edge technologies like MERN, Vision AI, and Blockchain in modern e-commerce platforms, improving both the user experience and operational security. The solution also enhances transaction accountability and transparency, crucial for building trust in digital commerce.
