Objective

The primary objective of the E-Commerce Application is to provide a seamless, secure, and user-friendly platform that facilitates online product browsing, cart operations, and order management. The application aims to empower administrators with the ability to manage the product catalog, update inventory, and track customer orders, while offering customers a smooth experience to register, log in, explore products, manage their cart, and place and track orders. Built using Java Spring Boot, ReactJS, and MySQL, the project focuses on delivering real-time inventory updates, role-based access control, and a scalable architecture that is ready for integration with future modules like payment processing, delivery tracking, and user reviews.

Abstract

The E-Commerce Application is a dynamic and scalable online shopping platform developed using Java Spring Boot, ReactJS, and MySQL. It serves both Admin and Customer roles, providing a smooth and efficient digital shopping experience. The Admin module enables administrators to manage products, update stock levels, view customer details, and control order statuses. The Customer module allows users to register, browse products, manage cart items, place orders, and view their order history. The system is designed with modularity in mind, ensuring ease of maintenance and future enhancements such as online payment integration, delivery tracking, and customer reviews. With a clean backend structure and a responsive frontend, this platform supports seamless interaction and real-time order management.
