The main objective of this project is to eradicate the usage of fossils and to attain the power management in the micro-grid system.
In this project, energy storage system and a power management scheme for renewable energy based microgrid system is implemented. A hybrid energy system (Wind and PV) is used to make a DC microgrid with battery for DC microgrid. Different connections of power generating units, different distributed sources of energy and different types of load coupled to a common point are known as microgrids. With the rising in the interest of power, worldwide climatic changes, expanding in the expense of fuel and worry on ozone harming substance emanation the utilization of sustainable power source assets is turning into a need. The renewable energy-based generation system like PV, wind, fuel cell etc. are playing the important role to fulfil the demand and also greenhouse effect. The simulation results are evaluate by using MATLAB/SIMULINK SOFTWARE.
