In this paper, cascode topology with inductively degenerated common-source CMOS power amplifier is suggested with improved gain, isolation, better stability and sufficient linearity over the operating range
We present a fully integrated single-stage 1.8V power amplifier operating .Our design employs a cascode topology combined with an inductively degenerated common-source CMOS power amplifier to enhance gain, isolation, stability, and linearity across the operational spectrum.
While noise figure typically holds less relevance in power amplifier (PA) design, we optimize the matching network to minimize noise figure (NF) and maximize power gain. The proposed circuit has been successfully designed and implemented using Cadence Virtuoso tools at 45nm, 90nm & 180nm technology.
