Objective

To develop a deep learning-based system for detecting animals in agricultural fields and sending real-time SMS and IoT alerts. The system aims to protect crops from damage and ensure efficient field management.

Abstract

Crop damage caused by wild animal intrusion is a significant concern for farmers, leading to reduced agricultural productivity and economic losses. This project presents a deep learning-based animal detection system integrated with SMS and IoT notification capabilities to safeguard agricultural fields. The system uses a camera module and a trained deep learning model to detect and classify animals in real time. Upon detection, it triggers instant alerts via SMS to farmers and uploads the incident data to an IoT platform for remote monitoring and record-keeping. This solution ensures timely intervention, enhances field security, and supports efficient farm management by leveraging AI-driven vision and smart communication technologies.
