Objective

The Customer Support Chat App aims to improve customer service by providing a seamless platform for managing support tickets in real time. 

Abstract

The Customer Support Chat App aims to improve customer service by providing a seamless platform for managing support tickets in real time. Designed to facilitate effective communication between customers and support agents, the app features three key roles: Admin, Support Agents, and Customers. Admin users have full access to the system, allowing them to manage user accounts, assign support agents, and monitor overall ticket resolution progress. Support agents can log in to the platform, view newly raised tickets, respond to customer queries, and maintain a history of resolved tickets. Customers can easily register, create tickets for issues they face, and view the status of their raised tickets, whether open, resolved, or closed. The platform’s real-time updates ensure that customers are always informed of the progress of their inquiries. The app leverages React JS for a dynamic, user-friendly frontend and Django for a robust backend framework, ensuring the system is both responsive and scalable. Data storage is handled efficiently using MongoDB, a NoSQL database that provides fast access and flexibility. With built-in authentication and authorization mechanisms, the app ensures that all users have secure access to their respective dashboards and data. Additionally, the system includes advanced features like ticket categorization, search filters, and the ability to attach files or screenshots to tickets, ensuring that support agents can easily identify and resolve customer issues. This application aims to reduce response times, enhance customer satisfaction, and provide businesses with a powerful tool for improving their customer support operations.
