Objective

The objective of this project is to develop a CRM-based Franchise Management and Profit Tracking Web Application that addresses the operational challenges faced by franchise businesses. The application aims to centralize key functions such as customer data management, lead tracking, sales opportunities, and profit monitoring, all within a user-friendly platform. By providing real-time insights and interactive data visualizations, the system will help franchise owners, managers, and employees track performance metrics like sales progress, lead conversion, and profit margins. Additionally, the application will streamline communication and collaboration across all roles, enabling better decision-making, improved customer relationship management, and enhanced operational efficiency. Ultimately, the project seeks to optimize the management of franchise operations, boost profitability, and empower businesses to make data-driven decisions in a competitive market.

Abstract

The CRM-based Franchise Management and Profit Tracking web application is a comprehensive tool designed to streamline the management of franchise operations through an intuitive, role-specific interface. Built on the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express’s, ReactJS, NodeJS), the platform is tailored to meet the needs of Admins, Managers, and Employees. Admins have full control over the system, enabling them to manage managers, access detailed reports, and monitor overall franchise performance. The admin dashboard will feature visual representations of performance data, such as profit margins, lead conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs, presented through dynamic graphs and charts for easy analysis. Managers, on the other hand, can add and manage employees, track leads, opportunities, and view customer details. They can also access a pipeline view that displays the status of current leads, showing which stage of the sales funnel each opportunity is at, helping managers identify bottlenecks and prioritize tasks effectively. Employees can focus on managing leads and opportunities, ensuring efficient communication and relationship management with customers. Through a user-friendly interface, employees can see a visual pipeline of their assigned leads, with color-coded stages indicating progress and next steps. The application serves as a centralized hub for tracking key business metrics, including customer interactions, lead conversion, and profit margins. Interactive graphs and reports help all users, from admins to employees, make data-driven decisions, ultimately enhancing operational efficiency and profitability across franchise locations. By integrating the power of data visualization and real-time reporting, this application drives informed decision-making, ensuring that franchise businesses remain agile and competitive.
