Control of a Three-Phase Hybrid Converter for a PV Charging Station

Objective

The main objective of this project is to propose a multi-port converter in a PV charging station for PHEVs to reduce the conversion stages and switching losses.

Abstract

In this project, control of a three-phase HBC in a PV charging station is designed and implemented. This HBC interfaces a PV system, a dc system with a hybrid plug in electrical vehicles (HPEVs) and a three-phase ac grid. The control of the HBC is designed to realize maximum power point tracking (MPPT) for PV, dc bus voltage regulation, and ac voltage or reactive power regulation. The simulation results can be evaluated by using Matlab/Simulink 2018a Software.
