Objective

The "Farmer to Customer (F2C) – AI Powered Platform" aims to create a direct connection between farmers and customers, optimizing the agricultural supply chain. Farmers can register, manage crops, track orders, and engage with customers, while consumers can browse crops and place orders easily. The platform features an AI-powered chatbot, powered by the Gemini API, to provide real-time assistance, improving communication, transparency, and efficiency for both parties involved.

Abstract

The "Farmer to Customer (F2C) – AI Powered Platform" is an innovative web application aimed at bridging the gap between farmers and customers by leveraging the power of AI. The platform allows farmers and customers to interact seamlessly through a streamlined user interface. Farmers can register, log in, add and manage crops, view and manage orders, and track their order history. The platform also features an AI-powered chatbot, integrated with the Gemini API, that provides real-time assistance and answers user queries. Customers, on the other hand, can register, log in, browse available crops, place orders, view order history, and interact with the chatbot for a personalized experience. Built using the MERN stack—MongoDB, Express JS, ReactJS, and NodeJS—the platform ensures high performance, scalability, and secure data management. MongoDB serves as the NoSQL database, storing and managing user data, crop information, and order details. Express JS and NodeJS power the backend, handling user authentication, order processing, and API interactions, while ReactJS provides a dynamic and responsive frontend for an engaging user experience. The integration of the Gemini API for chatbot functionality adds an intelligent layer, offering users conversational support and improving overall engagement. This platform provides a seamless, efficient, and user-friendly interface for both farmers and customers, optimizing crop sales, order management, and user interaction through advanced AI technology.
