The main objective of this project is to develop a secure and user-friendly Doctor–Patient Communication System that improves interaction between doctors and patients through a web-based platform. The system aims to provide efficient patient management, secure medical report sharing, and real-time communication facilities. It also focuses on reducing manual paperwork, maintaining organized medical records, and allowing patients to easily access their healthcare information online. Additionally, the project aims to improve healthcare accessibility, communication efficiency, and digital management of medical data using Django-based technologies.
The Doctor–Patient Communication System is a web-based healthcare application designed to provide secure and efficient communication between doctors and patients. The system enables doctors to manage patient records, upload medical reports, and communicate with patients through a real-time chat platform. Patients can register, log in, view their medical reports, access chat history, and interact with their assigned doctors in an organized digital environment. The application is developed using Django and incorporates role-based authentication, report management, chat room management, message storage, and AI-based chat history features. Doctors can create and manage patient accounts, while patients can securely access healthcare-related information and consultation records. The system helps reduce manual paperwork, improves accessibility to medical information, and enhances communication efficiency in healthcare services. The main objective of the project is to create a simple, secure, and user-friendly healthcare communication platform that supports effective interaction between doctors and patients. The proposed system improves medical data management, ensures secure report sharing, and provides a scalable foundation for future enhancements such as AI assistance, secure authentication, and advanced healthcare services.
