Abstract

Consumer’s interest in smart home concepts has been increasing due to the rapidly expanding home appliances industry that introduces Wi-Fi enabled appliances. Manufacturers provide firmware that allows users to control appliances using smartphones from anywhere. Smart appliances, firmware, and smartphones connected to a cloud server for data storage to form a simple smart home automation system (SHAS). In the existing system, the home appliances are controlled through Bluetooth, Zigbee and other devices. But they are limited to certain area. In the proposed system we have designed so as to control home appliances from anywhere in the world.
In this project, we are using Node Mcu Wi-Fi module. We are using android mobile with BLYNK application to control home appliances wirelessly by using WIFI. This entire system is controlled by Arduino micro controller. The user can have access to operate the loads from anywhere in the world
