The objective of this project is to develop a Car Rental Management System that streamlines the entire rental process for administrators, service providers, and users. The system will enable administrators to manage rentals and track user history, while rental service providers can add and manage car details and pricing. Users will have a seamless experience in browsing available cars, making bookings, and processing payments. The platform will be scalable and user-friendly, aimed at improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction in the car rental industry.
This project aims to develop a comprehensive Car Rental Management System that streamlines the car rental process for both administrators and users. The system is designed with three primary modules: Admin, Car Rental, and User. The Admin module allows administrators to log in, manage car rentals, view car rental histories, monitor user data, and manage cities where car rentals are available. The Car Rental module enables rental service providers to add and manage car details (such as name, model, seating capacity, price, and locations), view rental history, and track user activities. The User module facilitates customer registration, login, viewing available cities and car details, booking rentals, making dummy payments, and viewing booking history.
The system leverages React JS for the front-end, providing a dynamic and responsive user interface. The back-end is built using Express JS and Node JS, ensuring fast and scalable API management. Data is stored and managed in MongoDB, allowing efficient querying and handling of rental and user data. The application is designed to be user-friendly, supporting both the rental providers and customers while enhancing the rental process experience with seamless management, booking, and payment functionalities. This system aims to increase the efficiency of car rental operations and improve user experience, facilitating easy access to rental services across various cities.
