Objective

The primary objective of the Blockchain-Based Land Mortgage System is to establish a decentralized platform for secure and transparent management of land records, mortgages, and lease agreements. The system aims to integrate blockchain technology to prevent tampering and ensure that every transaction is permanently recorded. Admins can verify properties, owners can request leases, and banks can approve or reject mortgage applications with blockchain-backed proof.

Abstract

The Blockchain-Based Land Mortgage System introduces a secure and transparent digital framework for managing land records, mortgage approvals, and repayment tracking. This project leverages blockchain technology to eliminate fraud, ensure tamper-proof property verification, and enhance trust among stakeholders such as administrators, landowners, and banks. Through a decentralized ledger, all property transactions and mortgage details are recorded permanently, ensuring accountability and traceability. The admin verifies property authenticity and lease requests, while banks manage mortgage approvals and repayment histories. Landowners can register, request leases, and track mortgage repayment updates. By using blockchain as a distributed record system, this application prevents unauthorized data alteration, increases data transparency, and streamlines the mortgage process. The integration of smart contract principles further ensures automation of key steps such as verification and approval, reducing delays and human errors. This system brings innovation to land management through decentralization, trust, and immutability.
