To develop a Raspberry Pi-based autonomous robot capable of navigating and responding to traffic signals, road conditions, and speed variations using real-time image processing.
This project involves developing a self-driving car using a Raspberry Pi, equipped with a USB camera to navigate and respond to traffic signals and road conditions. The system is designed to automatically halt the robot when the camera detects a red traffic light and proceed forward when a green light is detected. Additionally, the robot adjusts its speed upon detecting a speed breaker, slowing down as needed to traverse the obstacle safely. The USB camera also monitors the vehicle's speed, providing real-time feedback on how fast the robot is moving. This project integrates real-time image processing and automated control to create a responsive and adaptive self-driving system.
