Developing an automatic unauthorized parking detector equipped with SMS alert functionality, ensuring efficient management of parking spaces and prompt notification of unauthorized vehicle presence
Rapid population growth has exacerbated the demand for parking spaces, particularly in densely populated metro areas and large cities, creating a critical challenge for urban planners. Addressing the issue of illegal parking has become increasingly urgent, requiring immediate solutions to mitigate its impact. This project endeavors to tackle the problem by focusing on the detection and identification of vehicles parked illegally. Through the deployment of sophisticated detection systems, such as sensor networks, vehicles parked in non-designated areas can be accurately detected and classified. The data collected from these systems is then swiftly transmitted to control offices, enabling authorities to take appropriate action, such as issuing fines or towing vehicles. By implementing this proactive approach, the project aims to reduce instances of illegal parking, thereby alleviating the strain on parking infrastructure and improving overall urban mobility. Furthermore, it contributes to the creation of safer and more orderly urban environments, enhancing the quality of life for residents and visitors alike. This integrated solution represents a significant step towards achieving efficient and sustainable urban transportation systems in the face of rapid urbanization and population growth.
