Automatic Light Intensity Controller by External Light Sensing

Project Code :TEMBMA3202

Objective

The main objective of this project is to control light intensity automatically by sensing external light

Abstract

Automatic Light Intensity Controller by External Light Sensing project mainly aims at saving energy. The system does this by introducing LED lights with changeable intensity option. Thus, the system avoids the use of expensive highway lights which consumes a lot of energy. Thus, to save energy, this system allows users to change the intensity of the LED’s (Light Emitting Diodes) as per the need. The programmable instructions to control the intensity by producing pulse width modulated signals which drives to switch LEDs to achieve required results are fed into the Arduino. This system also has the capability to sense external lights and accordingly adjust the intensity of the LED’s using PWM. Thus, when the external light is low, the system automatically increases the intensity of the LED lights and if the external light is high, the system automatically decreases the intensity of the LED lights. Thus, by adjusting the intensity of the LED lights as per the need, this system saves a lot of energy.
