Abstract
Automated Door Opener with Lighting Control Using Raspberry Pi system that uses raspberry pi along with passive IR sensors, motors and lights to demonstrate an automated door opening and lighting control system. Proposed system allows for automated door opening using human detection with lighting control using raspberry pi. System detects human presence and then opens door automatically depending on the human sensing input detected. Also the system keeps track of lighting conditions in the room and depending on the lighting needed system switches lights to get desired illumination.
