Anti-Ragging app
Abstract:-
Ragging is the term used for the so-called "initiation ritual" practiced in higher education institutions in South Asian countries, including India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The practice is similar to hazing in North America, bizutage in France, praxe in Portugal and other similar practices in educational institutions across the world.
Ragging involves abuse, humiliation or harassment of new entrants or junior students by the senior students. It often takes a malignant form wherein the newcomers may be subjected to psychological or physical torture. In 2009 the University Grants Commission of India imposed regulations upon Indian universities to help curb ragging, and launched a toll-free anti-ragging helpline.
The user is provided with four options like an automatic alert system, emergency contacts, and a method to post their complaint and to view the status of their previously posted complaints. When a user is experiencing ragging in the college campus and he/she requires immediate help from the college management, the user needs to open the Ragging complaint system app, switch on the automatic alert system facility and then shake his/her mobile phone which sends a message automatically saying RAGGING COMPLAINT DETECTED to the admin mobile number by default.
The user is also given provision to complaint directly to the higher officials of the college like the principal, the vice principal and the dean of student services. Their contact numbers are listed one by one and the user needs to select the person to whom he/she wishes to complain about the incident. Again an automatic message saying ragging detected will be sent to the person chosen by the user.
NOTE: Without the concern of our team, please don't submit to the college. This Abstract varies based on student requirements.
