" The primary objective of this project is to develop SkillSphere, a skill-sharing and learning platform designed to foster mutual learning and professional growth within a neighborhood. The platform aims to facilitate a seamless registration and login process for both users and admins. It enables admins to efficiently manage user data, add locations, oversee courses, and assess user progress. For users, the platform provides the ability to register, participate in assessments, view results, and engage with others through a messaging system and AI-driven chatbot. "

Abstract

SmartHire is an innovative web-based recruitment platform designed to transform the hiring process by integrating artificial intelligence for accurate competency mapping, resume analysis, and candidate profile ranking. The system leverages the Gemini AI API to automate resume screening, compute eligibility percentages, and provide intelligent matching between job requirements and applicant qualifications, ensuring fair, efficient, and data-driven recruitment decisions. With a multi-role architecture, the platform offers tailored interfaces for administrators, companies, and users (job seekers), enabling seamless job posting, application management, and application status tracking.

The platform features specialized dashboards for different user roles. Administrators manage company registrations by accepting or rejecting applications, oversee users, and maintain system integrity. Companies can register, post and manage job roles, view applicants, upload resumes for AI-powered eligibility scoring, and accept or reject candidates. Users (job seekers) can register, browse available jobs, apply by uploading resumes, and view application outcomes (accepted or rejected). By utilizing advanced AI for semantic analysis of resumes against job descriptions, SmartHire delivers precise competency-based ranking, reducing manual effort and minimizing biases in traditional screening processes.
