AI-Powered Receptionist Robot with Facial Recognition and Voice Interaction

Objective

The objective is to design a Raspberry Pi–based bank locker system with face recognition, fingerprint scanning, and OTP verification, ensuring multi-level security and protection of valuable assets.

Abstract

This project presents an AI-powered receptionist robot using Raspberry Pi, a web camera, DC motors, motor driver, speaker, and Bluetooth module. The system detects and recognizes people in real time using the camera and image processing techniques. When a person is identified, the robot activates a speaker to play a welcome message, creating an automated reception experience. The system provides a low-cost and intelligent solution for smart reception services in offices and institutions.
