AGRIMART is a full-stack e-commerce web application designed to streamline the trade of agro-products by connecting farmers directly with consumers and delivery partners. Built using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js), the platform ensures a robust, scalable, and dynamic user experience. AGRIMART features a multi-role architecture: Admins manage products, assign delivery partners, and monitor transactions; Users can browse products, manage carts, place orders via an integrated payment gateway, and track deliveries; Delivery Partners view assigned orders and update their status. A key innovation of AGRIMART is its AI-powered, voice-based chatbot powered by the Gemini AI API. This feature enables users to interact with the platform using natural speech, allowing them to inquire about products, check order status, and receive assistance in synthesized voice responses. This makes the platform more inclusive, especially for users less comfortable with traditional text interfaces. By leveraging modern web technologies and artificial intelligence, AGRIMART aims to digitalize agro-commerce, enhance operational efficiency, improve market access for farmers, and provide a convenient, voice-assisted shopping experience for consumers.
