Affordable Smart ECG Monitoring Using Arduino & Bluetooth Module

Project Code :TEMBMA3813

Objective

The main objective is to provide an affordable system for real-time ECG monitoring using Arduino and Bluetooth. The project is done by using an ECG sensor to capture heart signals, Arduino to process the data, and a Bluetooth module to transmit the readings to a smartphone or computer for display and analysis.

Abstract

  • The project “Affordable Smart ECG Monitoring Using Arduino and Bluetooth Module” is developed to provide a cost-effective and accessible solution for continuous heart health monitoring. The system uses Arduino as the central controller to process and manage sensor data. An ECG sensor is integrated to detect and monitor the electrical activity of the heart and blood flow patterns, while a temperature sensor records the body temperature to provide additional health insights. The collected sensor data is displayed on an LCD module for instant feedback to the user. In case of abnormal conditions, a buzzer is triggered to alert the patient or caregiver immediately. Furthermore, a Bluetooth module is incorporated to wirelessly transmit the real-time readings to a smartphone or external monitoring device, enabling remote supervision by healthcare professionals. This prototype provides an affordable, portable, and reliable health monitoring system that ensures early detection of abnormal cardiac activity and enhances preventive healthcare measures.
