The main objective of the project is to make the officials to identify and get an image to their mails of whoever entered in to the isolated geographic areas based on sound sensing device
For the surveillance of isolated geographical areas, we created a sensor with a structure similar to the human head to reproduce as accurately as possible the acoustic phenomena that occur at the reception of sound waves by the ears and to obtain a transfer characteristic close to that of the human head. The four acoustic signals received simultaneously from the four microphones in the sensor structure are processed with the Audacity application using the autocorrelation function. The result is the identification of the specific sound sources for this type of area (forestry machinery, wild animals, and other human activities) and the determination of the direction of arrival and of the location with sufficiently good accuracy for the purpose pursued, using a network of autonomous sensors, reliable, with low energy consumption.
Along with it, the use of camera to capture the image makes the process more advanced and helpful as the official can able to identify that a person is really entered into that isolated or restricted location or is it just a noise.
