Abstract

A shrewd helmet has been developed that's equipped to discover of hazardous events in the mines industry. Within the development of helmet, we've regarded the three main types of hazard reminiscent of air quality, helmet elimination, and collision (miners are struck through an object). The primary is the attention level of the hazardous gases such as CO2, SO2, NO2, and particulate matter.This project objective is to monitor the gases in the mines and intimate to monitoring unit when harmful gases are detected. We have different types of gas sensors for gas measurement like MQ2, MQ3, and MQ6 etc… in this project we are monitoring the gas levels in mines using wireless communication zigbee. If any harmful gases are detected it will transmit to monitoring unit.
