The objective of this project is to develop a Real-Time Intelligent Hospital Bed and Blood Resource Management System that efficiently monitors and manages hospital beds and blood inventories. It aims to provide a centralized platform for seamless coordination among admins, blood department staff, and patients, ensuring timely updates and accurate tracking. By integrating blockchain technology, the system secures all critical data against tampering, reduces delays in emergency response, and supports informed decision-making to optimize healthcare resource utilization and improve patient care.
Efficient management of hospital beds and blood resources is critical during medical emergencies, where delays can lead to severe consequences. This paper presents a Real-Time Intelligent Hospital Bed and Blood Resource Management System integrated with blockchain technology to ensure secure, transparent, and reliable data handling. The system is designed around three primary user roles: Admin, Blood Department Staff, and User/Patient, enabling seamless coordination among hospitals, blood banks, and patients through a centralized platform. Real-time monitoring of hospital bed availability and blood unit inventories allows faster decision-making and improved emergency response. Blockchain is employed to securely store and verify critical updates related to bed status and blood units, ensuring data integrity, traceability, and resistance to unauthorized modifications. The Admin module oversees system operations, user management, and resource monitoring, while Blood Department Staff manage blood inventories and bed status updates. Patients can view nearby available beds and blood units, submit requests, and track request statuses in real time. The proposed system enhances resource utilization, reduces response time in emergencies, and improves trust through decentralized verification. Overall, the solution aims to provide a reliable, scalable, and secure healthcare resource management framework for modern emergency medical services.
