The objective of this project is to comprehensively evaluate and compare the performance of various cryptographic algorithms, including DES, AES, RSA, and SHA-256, in terms of their security, efficiency, and practical applicability. The project aims to benchmark these algorithms by measuring key performance indicators such as encryption and decryption times, CPU usage, memory consumption, and vulnerability to known attacks.
This project conducts a comprehensive evaluation of various cryptographic algorithms, including DES, AES, RSA, SHA-256, and others, focusing on their security, efficiency, and practical challenges. Each algorithm is examined in terms of its computational performance, including encryption and decryption times, CPU usage, memory consumption, and vulnerability to attacks. Additionally, the study highlights the advantages and limitations of these cryptographic methods in real-world applications, such as secure communication, cloud computing, and data integrity. Performance benchmarking is integrated into a user-friendly platform, allowing users to select cryptographic algorithms, run tests, and view detailed reports on execution times, security metrics, and system resource usage. The project aims to contribute valuable insights into the strengths and weaknesses of these algorithms and provide a foundation for future improvements in cryptographic security protocols.
