The project aims to develop a decentralized loan platform using blockchain, where loan applications, approval, contract creation, and repayments are securely managed through smart contracts. The objective is to provide transparency, auditability, and automation, removing the need for intermediaries and reducing delays and fraud. It ensures that all actions (loan request, approval, repayment) are permanently recorded on the blockchain, enabling all stakeholders to trust the process.
This project introduces a Blockchain-Based Loan Management System that ensures transparency, security, and traceability in the loan lifecycle. Traditional loan processing systems suffer from trust issues, centralized control, and vulnerability to data tampering. The proposed system decentralizes loan data using blockchain technology to store loan requests, contracts, transactions, and payoff records immutably. Admins manage customer onboarding, approve/reject loan requests, create smart contracts, and track repayments in real-time. Customers can register, apply for loans, make repayments, and access their transaction history. All transactions are recorded as blocks, linked with cryptographic hashes, preventing unauthorized changes. The use of smart contracts automates the loan approval, contract creation, and fund disbursement processes, eliminating intermediaries and delays. This system is suitable for microfinance, P2P lending, and decentralized finance (DeFi) applications.
