Pothole Detection and Levelling Robot

Objective

The main objective of this project is to detect Pothole and Levelling them by using Servo Motor Arrangement

Abstract

In newspapers daily you are coming across about road accidents. And you may know the reasons why the road accidents are happening. The reasons may be speed driver or overtaking of vehicles. But one more reason for the accidents is path holes. In our country in rainy season’s the roads will become too worst by creating path holes. The cause for path holes is also by making use of heavy load vehicles on the roads and using of poor quality of cement for constructing roads. Because of these accidents may occur. So that the project is implemented for path hole detection and leveling of that path hole.

In this a robot is implemented for detecting and leveling of the path hole. The robot will move wireless so that no need of human to go all the way to find the potholes. An Ultrasonic sensor is placed to detect path holes on the road. If the pothole is detected then the robot will stop immediately and servo motor turns ON to level the pothole. By this we can level the path holes and accidents occurring due to potholes will reduce.
