The main objective of this project is to create a heartbeat monitoring and heart attack detection system using IoT. The user may set the high as well as low levels of heart beat limit. After setting these limits, the system starts monitoring and as soon as patient heart beat goes above a certain limit, the system sends an alert.
This project presents an integrated system for vehicle safety and health monitoring, utilizing Arduino along with a range of components including a Heartbeat sensor, Alcohol sensor, Motor Driver, DC motor, GSM module, GPS module, and a Buzzer. The primary objective is to detect and respond to abnormal conditions such as alcohol consumption or irregular heartbeats in the driver, ensuring their safety and that of others on the road.
The Alcohol sensor continuously checks the alcohol level in the driver's breath. Upon detection, the system activates the Buzzer, halts the vehicle by controlling the DC motor through the Motor Driver, and simultaneously sends an alert message via the GSM module to predefined contacts. Similarly, the Heartbeat sensor monitors the driver's heartbeat, and upon detecting irregularities, the system initiates the same protocol as in the alcohol detection scenario to safeguard the driver and road users.
Additionally, the system incorporates GPS functionality to pinpoint the vehicle's location during emergencies. The integration of GSM enables the system to dispatch real-time alert messages, facilitating prompt assistance. This comprehensive approach to vehicle safety and driver health monitoring has the potential to significantly enhance road safety and save lives.
