Disinfecting Robot with Ultraviolet Lights

Objective

The main objective of this system is to develop a disinfecting robot with the help of arduino uno, where PIR sensor to detect motion of person and ultrasonic sensor to detect obstacle in its path and UV light is used to kill COVID-19.

Abstract

This project is intended to deliver a disinfecting robot which is Tele-operated and is equipped with a UV light system. The robot can disinfect and kill diseases, viruses, bacteria, and other types of harmful organic microorganisms in the environment, with ultraviolet light, by breaking down their DNA-structure. Currently, several countries have tested these robots successfully to disinfect their hospitals, public transports, office spaces, and other public places. The most common and popular method to disinfect public places is to spray disinfectant liquids which are 70% alcohol-based liquids.
