In this work, we investigate the use of a system based on Brain-IoT that identifies negative emotions such as Anger, Fear or Sadness and triggers a video to elicit positive emotions.
In this work, emotion is recognized using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). Emotions are referred to as a natural instinctive state of mind derived from some circumstances or mood. In this research, we investigate the use of a system-based emotion recognition that identifies negative emotions such as Anger, Fear or Sadness and triggers a video to elicit positive emotions.
This experiment is conducted by using a webcam. Artificial Intelligence based Convolutional Neural Networks are used to train the network with the help of CNN layers, training options and datasets which are collected from Kaggle dataset.
When negative/positive emotions are detected, the obtained results are computed Matlab and transferred to Thingspeak database. Overall, the experiment results concluded that our system can sense negative emotion and provoke positive emotions.
