An IoT-based Virtual Doctor using Raspberry Pi with Webserver

Project Code :TEMBMA3220

Objective

The main objective of this project is to provide Online health checkup by looking into Health Parameters in the server

Abstract

Doctors are usually needed to work at every hospital and emergency Centre every now and then. But it is not feasible for every doctor to be available at every place at desired time. The problem with video calling is that video calls need to be done from a PC or laptop on a desk. This limits the doctors capacity to view patient or around operation theatre at will or even move through hospital rooms as needed. In order to address this situation, our system comes to the rescue; this system will collect the information of patients with the help of sensors. This system is implemented by the Raspberry Pi it includes a heartbeat sensor and respiration sensor, temperature sensor, MEMS sensor and an LCD display. This paper presents a continuous monitoring and recording of patient data without human intervention. If there is any sudden changes occur in the normal range of body parameters such as heart beat, over temperature detection, respiration detection, any tilts detects, then Buzzer will ring and displayed on LCD. Where both are not stable conditions for better health, then it has facility to automatically alert the medical person.
