Accountable Privacy-Preserving Mechanism for Cloud Computing Based On Identity-Based Encryption
Abstract
Cloud computing is an on-demand availability of computer system resources, especially data storage and computing power, without direct active management by the user. The term is generally used to describe data centers available to many users over the Internet. Considering the open and cross-domains of cloud computing, traditional privacy protection technology may not be effective in cloud computing. In this paper, inspired by the accountability idea, we proposed an accountable privacy-preserving mechanism based on Identity-Based Encryption (IBE) for cloud computing, which focuses on constraining the illegal network behavior by performing accountability to protect the privacy for cloud participants. In this system detailed safety analysis and proof of proposed mechanism are provided.
