This work introduces a new algorithm for encrypting medical images based on image blocks and chaos
Using medical images to diagnose illnesses has become increasingly important in recent years. Because these images are transferred via the internet, they require a high level of security. If the data in these images is vulnerable to unlawful use, it might cause serious difficulties. This study describes a new encryption technique that may be used to encrypt both grayscale and colour medical images.
The introduction of a novel image splitting technology based on image blocks. The image blocks were then jumbled in a zigzag pattern, rotated, and randomly permuted. Then, using a chaotic logistic map, a key is generated to diffuse the jumbled image. Security analysis and time complexity are used to assess the efficacy of our proposed approach in encrypting medical images.
