This project presents a "Conveyor-Belt Based Pick-and-Sort Industrial Robotics Application" designed to automate the process of object detection, classification, and sorting in industrial environments. The system utilizes a web camera mounted above a moving conveyor belt to continuously monitor and capture images of objects. A Raspberry Pi processes the visual data to identify and classify objects based on predefined characteristics such as shape, color, or size. Once an object is identified, servo motors are used to control a robotic arm that precisely picks and places the object into its designated location. The conveyor belt is driven by a DC motor to ensure smooth and continuous movement of objects. This system enhances operational efficiency, reduces manual labor, and ensures high-speed, accurate sorting, making it ideal for use in manufacturing, packaging, and quality control applications.
