Design of Secure Authenticated Key Management Protocol for Cloud Computing Environments

ABSTRACT:

Reliability and efficiency are the most affected metrics for cloud in terms of vast services that are provided by the cloud platform. To calculate metrics of cloud there are many mechanisms that are available among that mutual authentication and key agreement (MAKA) protocol gives the best services for privacy communication between the private networks and public networks. In general communication happens between the CSP and data Owner via key based authentication protocols. There are many stumbling blocks present in single key based authentication approach. If we need to control those kinds of complications in cloud services and improve the metrics of cloud that are mostly useful to end-users. The use of mutual authentication and key agreement (MAKA) protocols not only prevent attackers from abusing server resources, but also prevent malicious attackers posing as the server to obtain the user’s information. MAKA Protocol can meet the demands of multi-server architectures such as anonymity, non-traceability, resistance password guessing attack and smart card extraction attack, and so on. Security analysis shows that our protocol can meet various demands in the multi-server environments. Performance analysis demonstrates that the proposed scheme is well suited for computing resource constrained smart devices.
