Enhancing Cyber Security in Modern Internet of things (IoT) Using Intrusion Prevention Algorithm for IoT (IPAI)

Abstract

The internet of things, or IoT, is a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals or people that are provided with unique identifiers (UIDs) and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction. This Internet of Things (IoT) is the fastest growing example of the ability to transform physical interaction between individuals and organizations. The IoT network aims to communicate what's happening in the IT infrastructure in a secure and reliable way. The technology has found application in multiple fields such as healthcare, learning and training, resource management, and information processing. However, the practical realization of this technology is that there are many security and privacy issues that can be minimized to successfully implement large-scale Io technology. Prevention technology has been proposed to increase the cyber security of networks against ID devices and DDoS attacks, which use bandwidth on advanced Internet of Things (IoT) devices. These networks are wireless and self-configurable and do not require pre-existing infrastructure and due to the absence of large unpredictable node movements, security has become a major concern to take into account. The proposed approach is based on the analysis and investigation of bandwidth attacks, which mainly focus on DDoS, which is a really brutal challenge and difficult to detect, and reduces the performance of the network. DDoS contains a set of attack nodes and targets the victim to prevent legitimate users from accessing network services and resources. Intrusion prevention systems in IoT devices, policies that are considered add-ons of the intrusion detection system to actively protect and prevent intrusion, are found through IDS's diagnostic procedures. The report produced by the IDS is the basis of the proposed approach after analyzing the report of forensic analysis.
